Stupidity amongst the public, make that some
It's Not Connex's Fault
Hmm, an excuse you've always hear?!
Well, not quite.
You have three options. Faults's by;
By other passenger/the public/other. (More often the likely culprit)
- Vandalism
- Injuries and sickness
- General passenger stupidity (which is usually for more subtle delays (Topic #1)
- Passenger congregation around doorways, inability to allow further boarding, those who attempt to board a fully capacitated train, those that need to wait for their friend to come on board, those that hold the door open etc.)
- Accident/fatality
- Rubbish/littering
- Mother Nature
- Emergency Services
It CONTINUES (next time)
Connex. (You just blame 'Connex' just because theyre the ones operating the system)
- 'Snowball' effect, where a late train, become's a later train. (Due to other issues)
- Driver shortage (it's not easy to train, to drive, nor is it quick)
- Defective train (usually from above)
- Maintenance requires a number of sets to be 'out of service'
"Running a rail system, like any complex system, relies on a lot of people and systems to all work faultlessly together to achieve the desired result."Anonymous
Long/Short-term negative issues. (Long-term/Short-term issues that are difficult to really imrpove on without government and Connex impovement)
- Timetabling - (30% has changed since "The Met" era)
- Decaying infrastructure (signalling)
- Fleet incompatability.
